FAQ

Is there an online menu with prices for Curry India?

We are very comfortable with our pirces as are our customers.  Our prices are extreemly reasonable compared to other curry companies despite the fact that our flavours are rated very highly by our customers on ourbrisbane.com and agfg.com.au  If you have not heard about our curries via word of mouth or are not in posession of a menu, please don't hesitate to enquire by phone.  Please note that price, in no way shape or form can possibly indicate the quality or value of any product.  We certainly stand behind our food with our try before you buy policy..... In other words, if you are truly interested in finding out about our quality cuisine, pop in and try our flavours obligation free.

Can I have Extra Mild please?

At Curry India, there is no such thing. Mild means NO chilli at all. We make our curries from scratch and control every ingredient in every curry. The only spice to make a curry intolerable for the mild Australian palate is chilli. There are many mild selections on our menu, so there is no chance you will ever be without an exciting flavor or go hungry at Curry India.

How hot is Curry India’s Vindaloo?

Unfortunately without a taste test, this is like asking how long is a piece of string. We always provide a taste test for customers wanting to try our hot vindaloo. From this point if it is required to be hotter, this is possible, less hot however is not. Alternative menu items and suggestions are provided to each customer in store.

Is Curry India’s hot Indian hot or Australian hot?

This is an impossible question to answer. Many Australians eat hotter than many Indians. We all have differing palates.

Can I have a Hot Butter Chicken or a Mild Vindaloo?

Traditionally butter chicken is served mild while vindaloo is served hot. Too much chilli in a dish with a cooling agent like cream (killing chilli on the tongue), will create stomach problems and lead to stomach ulcers etc. Vindaloo without chilli can taste like a casserole or stew and is not the traditional flavour of vindaloo.  Curry India serves traditional curries.

Do Curry India’s curries come with rice?

Curry India has removed the price of rice from our curries to give customers a choice of which carbohydrate to accompany their curries. Naan, Roti or Rice being the choices. This way customers pay for what they will consume. This reduces waste.

Is Curry India a licensed restaurant?

We are currently BYO and are taking steps to become fully licensed in the future.

Does Curry India do home deliveries?

We deliver to 46 suburbs in the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane. A delivery charge and minimum order relates to each suburb.

Is Curry India a Franchise?

Curry India is not a franchise. We anticipating opening stores in the future and are working diligently to ensure product quality and service systems are finalized prior to taking the next steps.
